To prevent condensation forming within the supporting structure, care must be taken when installing two-piece expansion vents to ensure that the lower section is filled with an insulation material.
A uniform space above an insulation layer should be aimed for to enable effective ventilation.
The number and position of breather vents required will need to be calculated in accordance with the number and siting of the rooms covered by the roof.
All roof structures should have a vapour barrier specified
