Provides unobtrusive high-level ventilation in conjunction with lead details on tile and slate roofs.

Provides effective resistance to driving and deluge rain

Does not effect the normal laying of the roof covering
Optional factory fitted apron flashing enables the leadvent to be used with profiled tiles
Minimum roof pitch 20°
Ideal for top edge abutment where there is height restriction
Can be used to comply with roof space ventilation requirements of Building Regulations Approved Documents

Secure leadvent with appropriate fixings to ridge board or rafters through the holes provided. Ensure the ventilation strip is facing down toward the roof slope. If used with pan tiles apron flashing is essential to prevent driving rain entering the roof. Apron flashing is an optional extra that can be factory fitted upon request.
Lead flashing from abutment wall should drape down over lead vent and hook into the cleats provides
When installing Leadvent against abutment or on a roll ridge, roofing membrane must be left short at top of rafter to allow airflow into roofspace.
