Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing movement of goods from each stage of creation to shipment.
• Planning and tracking shipments.
• Use of current IT system. Planning and implementation of improvements to same.
• Verifying and meeting established deadlines.
• Preparing reports for management.
• Checking in deliveries and putting goods away.
• Picking orders for dispatch. i.e. delivery.
• Dealing with customers at trade counter.
• Stock Control.
• Other incidental duties as required.

Candidate Requirements

• 3rd level qualification, Logistics Management, supply chain management or similar.
• Strong Organisational & Communication Skills.
• Attention to detail & see tasks through to the end.
• Strong housekeeping skills & appreciation of importance of Health & Safety issues.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Forklift licence.
• Computer Literacy.
• Fluent in English.
