Installation

1. BarriAir is installed on the warm side of the structure immediately adjacent to the insulation.
2. Applied to both walls and ceilings to significantly reduce air leakage in any structure.
3. On one side of the membrane the tape is on the upper surface and on the other side the tape is on the lower surface.
4. Unpeel the protection layer and stick the two tapes together as the membrane overlaps.
5. Attaching the two tapes together ensures the membrane is jointed and sealed.
6. Any mechanical fixing applied through the double layered strips will have reduced air leakage as the adhesive will act as a sealant.
