Eaves Skirt

Uses

• At the eaves of a roof to support and protect the roofing felt, fascia and soffit
• Used instead of traditional tilting fillet
• Replaces the underlay into gutter eliminating worn or perished roofing felt.
• Ensures correct water discharge into gutter

• Avoids sagging and ponding and will not rot in the gutter unlike traditional felts.
• Robust 1.5mm PVC-U resists impact and UV degradation over time.
• Replaces both the underlay and the tilting fillet into the gutter.
• For use with over 10mm or 25mm fascia ventilators.

• Can be used to comply with Building Regulations Approved Document C and BS5534

Installation

1. Fit on top of the fascia board below the roofing felt. Cut the roofing felt short of the gutter on top of the eaves skirt avoiding the felt sagging into the gutter.
2. Allow a 150mm overlap where the lengths of eaves skirt join along the eaves line. Install fascia vent where necessary.
3. Secure the eaves skirt with clout nails. Continuing battening and tiling the roof.
