Uses

Universal rafter tray for roof ventilation between the underlay and insulation.
For remedial work on existing roofs
Suitable for all roof pitches
Installed continuously in conjunction with fascia or soffit ventilation
Provides actual ventilation opening of 25,000mm2/m at either 600 or 400mm rafter centres.

Adjusts to the correct roof pitch and can be used in new build or refurbishment
Unique cross strengthening ribs on rafter trays prevents the underlay from sagging and blocking airflow
Reduces risk of cold bridging by allowing the insulation to be laid tight into eaves.

IRV635/IRV655 must be installed in conjunction with continuous eaves ventilation in line with Building Regulations and BS5250. ICON ISV70 circular soffit vent or IFV100 eaves vent, provide continuous eaves ventilation.
An unobstructed air path must be maintained between the eaves ventilation and the roof space.
Measure the rafter spacing's to determine the product required. IRV635 (400mm rafter centres) or IRV655 (600mm rafter spacing's)
When installing the rafter tray push into place above the wall plate tight to the back of the roofing felt. The vent may be stapled or nailed in position if required.
Ensure the insulation is tucked into the back of the vent to avoid any cold bridging. If additional layers of insulation are added above the high of the vent it is vital that they are kept back level with the position of the rafter tray and does not block the continuous airpath into the roof space.
