Uses

Prevents the spread of flame where 220x90 rigid ducting penetrates fire compartment walls.
Exclusively used where horizontal plastic ductwork penetrates a fire rated wall.

Rectangular profiles tested to BSEN1366-3:2009
Round profile tested to temperatures and pressure conditions of BEEN1363-1:1999 and the principles of BSEN1366-3:2009
Up to 90 minutes fire rating
Tested with uncapped/uncapped duct configurations as required for ventilation ducts
Rectangular profiles are very slim, saving ceiling space
Suitable for masonry walls or plasterboard partitions
Suitable for insulated and non insulated partitions
No mechanical fixings required
Should be installed centrally within the supporting construction
Ventilation plastic ductwork will meet UL94VO (duct) and UL94HB (fittings) flammability standards.
Operating temperatures of –15ºC to 60ºC
Can be retrofitted

The wall must be solid construction not less than 100mm in overall thickness. The recess hole must be the correct size.

After insertion, the cavity around the pipe can be made good with filler, The surface can then be decorated.
